One of our favorite Halloween festivals, Suwanee Hulaween, is quickly approaching. Listen to our playlist and get ready for a spooky weekend!

Suwannee Hulaween is fast approaching and the anticipation for this latest installment is beginning to set in. With the theme that was recently announced, “Creatures of the Galaxy”, this year’s lineup promises to be the biggest and best yet with performances from artists like Jamiroquai, Tipper, and of course, a highly anticipated Halloween set from The String Cheese Incident.

The list of amazing artists doesn’t stop there, though, as there are plenty of names who will be blowing away crowds all weekend long. REZZ is one of the artists that has caught the ear of many with her recently released album A Certain Kind of Magic and sets that leave crowds stunned. ODESZA will also be performing at the festival and are a set you shouldn’t miss, as they have blown away everyone who has witnessed their live productions this year.

One of my personal favorite acts that I’m extra hype on this year at Hulaween is Action Bronson, who has a reputation for putting on a solid show wherever he performs. I am hoping that he’ll bring the same energy and interactive feel to the stage much like he did at The Meadows Festival in New York City.

Suwannee Hulaween has a plethora of acts that will blow your mind, so to give you a taste of what’s in store and get you hyped on that drive to the festival, I’ve put together a playlist full of some serious jams. Check out the Spotify playlist below for tracks from artists like STS9, Gramatik, TroyBoi, NGHTMRE, and so many more.

Christopher Rivera

Christopher, or Brown Bear as his Festival Family and most of his friends call him, got his humble beginnings in the dance music scene when he was a child from none other than his mother. The weekends were filled with dance music from the 80’s and 90’s like La Bouche’s “Be My Lover” and Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night”. In 2010 his friends showed him a video from Bonnaroo of Pretty Light’s “I Know the Truth” and he immediately dived on in. Since then he has attended every live music festival from Spirit of Suwannee’s, Purple Hatters Ball (Jam Bands), to Let It Roll Drum & Bass Festival in the Czech Republic. Chris has an eclectic palate for music; from Shpongle and Bassnectar to Oliver Heldens and Porter Robinson, he vibes with it all. He has traveled from coast to coast and around the world looking what he calls The Bear Necessities of Life; the simple things that make you smile, or you find visually moving. This pursuit and travels inspired Bearlosophy, his photographic journal of all his adventures. He aspires to travel the world taking photos for non-profit organizations or to work for one of the top EDM photography teams like aLIVE Coverage.
