The Landing || April 22 – 28, 2018
Figure releases the insanely heavy “Acting Tough” on brand new three-track EP, Incident 86.
Figure – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
Releasing his explosive Incident 86 EP on Disciple Records, filthy bass master Figure is back and better than ever. With three fiery tracks that’ll test even the strongest of neck muscles, the EP comes with features by Dakota and Infekt. “Acting Tough” is our favorite off of Incident 86 because of its firepower energy and bone-splintering bass drops. If you’re looking for some unique headbanging material, look no further than this dubstep track!
Sied van Riel and Richard Durand induce a spiritual awakening of sound!

Sied van Riel has taken to the studio with help from fellow Dutch trancer Richard Durand harboring one very apparent mission; To set the club culture into a tailspin as the sounds of “Universal Minds” captures the essence of the most powerful genre on the planet.
Premiered by Armin van Buuren in #ASOT858, “Universal Minds” is an instant hit, racking up support from the industry leaders including Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Solarstone and many more. Out now on Reloaded, prepare for your night to come to life as you close your eyes and allow the gorgeous melody to lead a spectacular journey on the dance floor!
Returning to Orchestral Heaven with Elite Electronic and Sandro Mireno
Elite Electronic – Promo.DJ | Twitter | SoundCloud
Sandro Mireno – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
There’s something about orchestral music and Trance music that just feels so good! Elite Electronic, a mainstay of Trance since 2007, team up with Sandro Mireno to create a subtle beauty of Trance radiance. The early phases of the track underlie the beauty of the breakdown – creating energy that gives way to almost melancholic moods in the breakdown.
String melodies permeate the ears with tension that comes straight into the heart, while darkened pads provide the canvas for the heart’s strings to be tugged upon. The build features a vocal sample that recalls classic sounds from The Thrillseekers or Aly & Fila, and the main melody post break is as epic as anything else in the genre right now. This is uplifting done with splendor! Grab your own slice of “Heaven Song” by clicking here.

Listen to Toyko-based producer Lycoriscoris take “Flight”!
Lycoriscoris – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
If you’re a fan of deep house and don’t know of Lycoriscoris, let this track be your official introduction. Japanese producer Yunosuke Senoo has made a quick name for himself since his start in 2009, releasing two albums off the Japanese indie label Moph Records and joining Anjunadeep in 2016. What he’s gotten the most attention for, however, have been his live sets, during which he wields not only his laptop but an actual piano as well.
“Flight” is the first song off his upcoming EP through Anjunadeep and is dreamy, melodic track perfect for when you’re in the mood for some seriously beautiful deep house. Featuring minimalistic baselines and violin samplings that will send chills down your spine, “Flight” is definitely my favorite find of this week and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP when it comes out on May 25.

Hoodboi – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
2018 has been quite the year for multi-talented artist Hoodboi. In preparation for his forthcoming EP Breathing Room on Fool’s Gold (out May 22) he’s been dropping numerous! We’ve followed along as we journeyed through his relationship via Long Distance, and collaborated with immensely talented lyricists on “Glide” and “Tip of My Tongue.”
His latest single sees Hodboi collaborate with Djemba Djemba and feature the smooth vocals by Julius. This synthesis produces that sultry R&B laden sound we have come to expect from Hoodboi. “Drowning” perfectly exemplifies what Breathing Room is all about – unexpected collaborations and traversing through musical communities. We can’t wait until the full EP drops; until, check out Hoodboi’s latest track and let us know what you think!

Taking the classic anthemic track “Easy” and giving it a future bass spin are rising starts Fransis Derelle and Blvk Sheep. Both artists have already been making some serious waves in the bass music scene and this bootleg shows they have what it takes to make even bigger moves this year.
Fransis Derelle is coming off the release of his hotter than ever EP, Pixel Paradise, which left listeners stunned back in January. Lost Frequencies collabs with James Blunt on tune “Melody”
Lost Frequencies – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
James Blunt – Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud
As an artist who doesn’t shy away from cross genre collaborations, Lost Frequencies’ latest release brings a solid beat that is paired perfectly with the vocals of James Blunt. Dubbed “Melody”, the track is definitely on the pop side of the electronic spectrum, but catchy as ever. Keep your ears tuned to this track as it is sure to begin infecting sets around the world quickly!
“I’ve been a really big fan of James Blunt these past years; I love his voice and music. To make a track together is something I wouldn’t have even dreamed of a few years ago, but here we are. James sent me the demo he had of ‘Melody’ and I started working on it immediately. I did a bunch of different versions of the track until the final version was made and everybody loved it. It was a fairly quick process considering we were both gone a lot on tour and doing a lot of other projects, and I’m super happy we found a version of the track where both our worlds are perfectly balanced.”
