Justin Jay just can’t stop releasing music, and his latest is a dancefloor-ready rework of Post Malone’s “Congratulations”.

Justin Jay has had an incredible year in 2017, and amazingly, he is still not quite finished. Just this year, he has released a brand new album that represents a completely new approach to his signature sound and toured around the country to support it with his rocking live band. Today marks the release of his remix of Post Malone’s “Congratulations“, first premiered during a b2b set with Justin Martin in Chicago.

Over the last several months, Justin Jay has been bringing the sounds of his newest album, Home, to a variety of venues across the United States. Intermingling new material with old and mixing the dynamic energy of a live band with the DJ skills that made him famous, he brought the house down and cemented his reputation as one of the scene’s most lively and exciting performers.

“Congratulations” has been a staple of Justin Jay’s sets on his Home tour. The track fits in perfectly with the energy and style of the original productions from his latest album, starting off with a catchy drum beat before adding in some resonant, slightly discordant synths that hearken back to his Dirtybird days. The effect is deceivingly simple – a lightened up, party-ready version of Post Malone’s original that works as well on its own as it does as part of a set.

Justin Jay is just finishing out the last leg of his Home tour, with remaining performances scheduled in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Anaheim, and Portland. If you haven’t had a chance to catch him yet, what are you waiting for? Snag your tickets and get ready for one of the best shows you’ll see all year.

November 25 – Teragram Ballroom – Los Angeles, California

Erin has been listening to electronic music on and off since the early 2000s, which is when trance music captured her heart and soul. Over the years, she has expanded into a number of other styles and genres, especially techno and house. Originally from Chicago, she spent the better part of the last decade seeking out any electronic music she could find, and traveled the length of the country in search of some incredible moments at festivals like EDC, TomorrowWorld, and the Dirtybird Campout. Having since settled in Denver, she focuses her energies primarily on the house and techno scene around town and traveling to mountain and west coast festivals whenever possible.
