#TBT EDCLV Edition || Flosstradamus – Total Recall

This week’s EDC Las Vegas-themed edition of Throwback Thursday brings us “Total Recall” from none other than the HDY BOYS themselves, Flosstradamus. Five years ago they composed one hell of a track, melting ambient sounds over some very disgusting dubstep bass. Total Recall is the ability to remember with clarity every detail of the events of one’s life or of a particular event, object, or experience.

Back in 2012, “Total Recall” was played constantly in sets that year. Flosstradamus was truly one of the pioneers of trap within the dance music community. Grimy, head banging, and mosh pit starting beats with vocals are what we have come to expect from the self-proclaimed HDY BOYS. At their sets, you could start at the front row while they drop some of the illest beats and in moments end up in a mosh pit.

Unfortunately, earlier last year the duo went their separate ways. The group stayed together from 2007 to 2016 and was comprised of Curt Cameruci and Josh Young, friends from Chicago. Now, Curt continues the mission of Flosstradamus to let Josh become a family man after the birth of his daughter. We cannot argue that logic and dedication! This track is a reminder of what magic those two Chi-Town boys created together.
