Drum&BassArena is celebrating their 20th Anniversary with an epic, three disc compilation album!

Drum & Bass is a genre and branch of electronic music which emerged from rave and old school jungle scenes in England during the early 1990s, and Drum&BassArena has Sheffield roots that run deep going all the way back to 1996. In fact, the brand has been noted as one of the major players of the Drum & Bass evolution bringing the likes of both artists and the faithful community together under music. Its beginning years were truly massive. After winning ‘Best Music Business Website’ at the Music Week Awards in 1999, Drum&BassArena launched its compilation series in 2001, an album mixed by the Dum & Bass master, Andy C. Now in 2016, Drum&BassArena has garnered over 1 million album sales, giving it the well deserved title of best-selling drum & bass compilation series of all time! Today, the brand is more relevant than ever, keeping the drum & bass genre alive and well.

This year they are celebrating 20 years in the business and they are doing so with a massive compilation album called, ‘Drum&BassArena 20 Years’ that sees the likes of the most iconic releases in drum & bass history all together on one glorious record. Dropping on November 4, 2016, some of these tracks will include 1996’s legendary anthem “Nightflight” by Shimon & Andy C, or Chase & Status’ “Hurt You,” a track that topped the UK Dance chart in 2008 and got them a nomination at the BRIT Awards, and Rudimental’s Feel The Love, which peaked at #1 on the UK Singles chart back in 2012 and went double platinum in Australia. Other artists gracing the record are musicians that continue to mold the genre keeping it current and forward thinking for fans of today and future drum & bass addicts in the days to come. Some of these music makers include Pendulum, Ed Rush & Optical, Twisted Individual, DJ Zinc, Dillinja, DJ Hazard, The Prototypes, Sigma, Wilkinson, Noisia and Netsky, among many, many more.

International tour dates include stops in Australia, Slovakia, Hungary and many more. Drum & Bass is the type of music that we need to continue to support and keep alive in an ever-growing and ever-changing scene. It was a staple back in 1996 and should remain a staple today. Maria first fell in love with electronic music in the early 2000's when she heard a little tune called "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi. Since then she has dived headfirst into the scene and is wildly passionate about the trance, techno, and house genres. Festival's like EDC, Dreamstate, and Dirtybird Campout hold the key to her soul and dance music will always and forever be a major part of her life.
