FTampa Puts His Stamp On Tritonal’s “Blackout”

Maria Clinton
Blackout

FTampa, or Felipe Tampa, is on fire since he dropped his latest single, “Need You“. And he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing up after the announcement that he has taken hold of Tritonal‘s “Blackout” and remixed it, adding a dash of FTampa style. With its release set for April 18th through Enhanced Recordings, this remix is going to cause some serious Main Stage mania. Steph Jones takes hold of the vocals and with a soft build the track leads into a festive drop, inspiring its listeners to get up and dance. It is definitely a feel good tune with great flow and tons of energy.

Revealed Recordings cites the Brazilian DJ, FTampa, as “one of the most exciting new faces in the market” and Beatport claims him to be “a rising star”. The proof is evident in his work and after landing a main stage spot at Tomorrowland Brasil, and it is clear that he is on a fast track to the top. He was even featured as the premier artist in the film “This Was Tomorrow”; a film about the coveted festival, Tomorrowland. And rounding it out, 2015 saw the release of his track “Strike It Up”, a tune that was dropped on Tiesto‘s label, Musical Freedom. The special thing about this release was that it became the only non Tiesto track on Musical Freedom’s “Top 10 of 2015”! FTampa is someone who you are gonna want to add to your list of must see artists this season.

Don’t forget to check out the full version of Tritonal Feat. Steph Jones – Blackout (FTampa Remix) when it is dropped on April 18!

Maria first fell in love with electronic music in the early 2000's when she heard a little tune called "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi. Since then she has dived headfirst into the scene and is wildly passionate about the trance, techno, and tech house genres. Festival's like EDC, Dreamstate, and Dirtybird Campout hold the key to her soul and dance music will always and forever be a major part of her life.
