Relive the Lyrical Bliss of Andrew Bayer’s “Super Human”

There is nothing more satisfying than the ethereal energy that flows like water through Andrew Bayers 2015 hit “Super Human” featuring Asbjørn!

Every once in a while there comes along a track that is so splendid in all of its elements that you know that it will stand the test of time. Andrew Bayer‘s “Super Human” is a prime example. Now celebrating four years since its release, this is a track that still does major damage on the dance floor.

Hitting the airwaves as a part of the three-track Do Androids Dream EP in April 2015 on Anjunabeats, listeners were whisked away on a journey of epic proportions as the thematic vocal vibe made “Super Human” the go-to track to get the peak hours of the night drip with energy and emotional euphoria.

As the co-writer for many of our favorite Above & Beyond masterpieces found in Group Therapy, We Are All We Need, and Common Ground it is through his own original releases that we come to realize that Grammy-nominated Andrew Bayer is simply a cut above the rest. Even the “Super Human” music video proves why he is a force to be reckoned with as the idea of illusion and reality collide to culminate in one hell of a brilliant visual expression.

Always and forever one of my personal favorites, I truly feel that “Super Human” will continue to lift fans to another dimension for many years to come. Check it out below and read on for some insight on the video from its director, Robin Lochmann

“We wanted to create a story about two people feeling a connection while being physically separated. We all spend so much time behind screens and with the rise of virtual reality we are all sinking deeper into digital worlds were connections are rarely physical. I wanted to play with the idea that two people connect digitally and when they attempt to find each other in the real world they discover that they have been chasing an illusion. Trapped behind a glass screen the flickering images of the digital remain intangible and out of reach for human touch. Do we find a heightened sense of humanity, or a sense of being superhuman in our digital avatars or can this only be reached in the tactile realm of reality?”

– Director Robin Lochmann
