Binary Finary Release “1998” 20th Anniversary Remixes

in New Releases

One of the most beloved trance tunes, “1998”, turned 20 this year and Binary Finary have been celebrating in style.

When you talk about iconic tracks in the trance music scene it is impossible to not bring Binary Finary‘s hit tune “1998” into the conversation. Over the past two decades, this masterful track has dominated playlists and mixes online while also being heard countless times at festivals and events.

To breathe some new life into the tune, Binary Finary touched the track up for their own 20th Anniversary Remix to give it an update and bring it to the modern era. The duo also looked to trance artist Mark Sixma and Spanish techno star Dosem for their takes on “1998”, and both remixes have left us impressed.

The modern update from Binary Finary kicks things off and sets the tone for the remixes that are to come as the 20th Anniversary Remix is full of power while making the track feel even more immense than it already was. Mark Sixma takes the track on a trance-fueled rollercoaster of a ride that screams forward with its high-energy style. To close the three-track release, Dosem gives the track a melodic techno spin that will transport you to a different dimension as you drift away in its soundscape.

Take a listen to the remixes below, download or stream it on your favorite platform, and let us know which take on the track you liked best in the comments!

“We are just really humbled that the little project we started all those years ago on a Yamaha workstation is still gaining attention and music plays all these years on. We are excited to hear the new remixes being played out at events across the globe. Really exciting and truly fitting for a 20th birthday party.” – Binary Finary
