Insomniac and ALDA have joined forces with their sights set on expanding the dance music scene to audiences around the globe.

With their sights set on continuing to expand their global presence, Insomniac Events has officially announced today that they have entered into a partnership with ALDA, acquiring 50 percent of the renowned music events production company. The two brands intend to work together to bring dance music to a broader international audience, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

“Allan, David and the entire ALDA team are first-class event producers, and friends I’ve known for many years. We’ve wanted to work together for quite some time, so this partnership feels very natural. By aligning our businesses we can bring the world-class experiences that both Insomniac and ALDA are known for to the US and exciting new places around the world.”

– Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella

Over the past 25 years, Insomniac has transformed into one of the most beloved dance music event producers on the planet. Their jam-packed roster of events includes Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape, Beyond Wonderland, and more. Of course, their flagship Electric Daisy Carnival has also seen loads of success as their Las Vegas edition is North America’s largest dance music festival, and the brand has traveled for international editions in Japan, China, Mexico, and others as well.

“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with the Insomniac family. Pasquale and his team are true innovators when it comes to creating and executing festivals and music events. It has been our goal to provide dance lovers with high-quality musical experiences, and Pasquale encourages this vision.”

– ALDA Co-founder and CEO Allan Hardenberg

Based out of Amsterdam, ALDA is a leader in the European dance music scene with over 180 events that span over 30 countries. Their impressive roster of shows includes events like Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance and Armin Only shows, as well as We Are Connected, New Horizons, The Flying Dutch, and more.

Much like other brands that have been acquired or partially acquired over the past few years by Insomniac, ALDA will continue to operate as an independent company, with co-founders Allan Hardenberg and David Lewis continuing to move the brand forward.
