If you didn’t get the chance to catch Above & Beyond’s recent documentary Giving Up The Day Job when it toured theaters in North America, now is your chance to watch!
When it was announced that Above & Beyond was making a documentary surrounding their acoustic album and tour stop at the Hollywood Bowl, Anjuna Family members from around the world were excited as ever. The feature film, dubbed Above & Beyond Acoustic: Giving Up The Day Job, featured a unique style of having two different directors, blending performances from the show with insight from the trio of Jono, Tony, and Paavo as well.
The documentary toured a small number of theaters for a run in North America before a global theatrical expansion which is due on April 11. Above & Beyond will be present on April 12 at Odeon’s Covent Garden for the global premiere in London, so if you’re in the United Kingdom definitely consider attending!
If you happen to reside in a city that wasn’t on the original list of theaters or the new list that is coming with the global expansion, you’re still in luck. That’s right, Above & Beyond Acoustic: Giving Up The Day Job is set for exclusive release on iTunes and is available for pre-order today via apple.co/aboveandbeyond.
The iTunes release is a dual feature film package, which will not just include the documentary but the full-length concert film as well as an added iTunes Extra. The global release is set for April 17, so make sure to get your box of tissues ready for this emotional ride through one of the electronic music scene’s most beloved trio’s journey to Hollywood.
