LA-based Nü Disco producer Le Youth has made a name for himself by producing a spate of irresistible tunes that have captured our collective consciousness. With a flair for infusing the washed out, neon-tinged sounds of the nineties with a contemporary tilt, he is undoubtedly one of those producers you should be keeping your eyes on, and today he proved it again with “I Could Always”, his most recent collaboration with MNDR.
With an infectious groove from Le Youth laid underneath MNDR’s smooth, stylish vocals, “I Could Always” immediately transports the listener to a land of infinite summer, a welcome distraction as we head into the winter season. It’s a track appropriate for both a late night dance party on a gorgeous beach and driving your car down the highway with the top down and all your pals in tow. In short, it’s cool as hell, and you won’t be able to stop listening to it.
