Following last month’s collab with Delta Heavy, Dirty Audio has answered basshead’s prayers with his latest release, “Stacks”.
At only 22 years old, LA-based Dirty Audio has already made quite the name for himself in the bass/trap scene. This year’s been an especially killer year for the young DJ, with a slew of releases and remixes for DJ Snake, Yellow Claw, and Afrojack. With the end of the year on the horizon, he has blown us away with another tune dubbed “Stacks”.
Although Dirty Audio is known for his aggressive basslines and hard-hitting tracks, what many don’t know is that he’s actually a huge fan of hip-hop and admits that he’s even learned many of his life lessons from rap.
His eclectic taste in music shines through in his own work as well, evident fully on “Stacks”. While Dirty Audio stays true to the bass realm, each track he releases has an undeniably original sound and feel to it.

“Stacks” is a deliciously filthy track, offering satisfying drops, hard-hitting kicks, and even a melodic flute hook that’s been stuck in our heads since we first listened to the song. The track picks up quickly though, and of course, no track of Dirty Audio’s would be complete without an epic bass drop.
It varies greatly from Dirty Audio’s last release with Delta Heavy, “Stay”, which opts for more of a pop sound with female vocalist HOLLY’s enchanting vocals. For more on “Stay”, make sure to check out our post discussing the track!
The tune is out now for free on Insomniac Records’ sub-label Bassrush Records and is sure to be on repeat for every trap lover out there.
