What was your first electronic music event?

I came across my first electronic event completely by accident. A former friend of mine convinced me to go to Coachella in 2010, and I had some time to myself so I stumbled into the Sahara tent. Just so happens that deadmau5 was playing. Within 30 seconds I was in love.

What/who influenced you to attend your first event?

For my entire life, I have loved music. Prior to my first electronic event, I was a huge metal head and all around music fan, and had attended over twenty concerts, ranging from Avenged Sevenfold to Brittney Spears. However when I came to electronic music I had no concept of what an actual live show would entail, so to say I was influenced by anyone or anything would be incorrect.

What is one moment from an event that was special and why?

2012 Swedish House Mafia, Coachella Mainstage. I think that says just about everything.

What is your favorite festival or event?

Since my first time attending back in 2010, Coachella has always felt like a second home. From the heat to the ambiance, I love it all.

What is your favorite electronic song and why?

There are quite a few songs I could throw out there that could easily be my favorite. But in all honesty, the song that still makes me dance the hardest is “Miami 2 Ibiza” by Swedish House Mafia. My wife played it for me when we first started dating and it became “our song”.

Who are your favorite artists?

Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, San Holo, Kungs, Dillon Francis, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello, Marshmello, Slushii, Tiesto, NERO, Zeds Dead, Zedd, Robert Delong, and so many more as well

What are your favorite genres?

Dubstep, House, Future Bass, Trap, Brostep, Techno

What do you feel your “Identity” is in the electronic music community?

Tough question- I feel that my identity is something that is ever changing, just like the community as a whole.

Is there anything else you would like to add about yourself for the readers?

That we are all in this together. ;)
