5. Wonder (feat. Megan Hamilton) – Jameston Thieves x Aaron Jackson
Jameston Thieves – Facebook | SoundCloud | Aaron Jackson – Facebook | SoundCloud
If you haven’t heard of Jameston Thieves, I highly suggest checking him out. This Phoenix, AZ native is an amazing House producer that provides some intricate sound design in all of his tunes. His newest song brings together the talents of Aaron Jackson to the table as well. The House track begins with vocals from Megan Hamilton, which eventually get chopped up and warped going into the build. From there, you can clearly hear where Jameston Thieves did his thing on his track. The drop is a flurry of synths and wobbles that are definitely unique!
4. Dead (YOOKiE Remix) – SLANDER
YOOKiE – Facebook | SoundCloud || SLANDER – Facebook | SoundCloud
Joining forces on their latest track, “After All,” to now YOOKiE providing an official remix to SLANDER’s song “Dead,” it seems like YOOKiE and SLANDER have a very bolstering friendship as of late. Regardless of what those terms are I am definitely enjoying what is being produced. I’ve heard this remix in a video taken as Bassnectar’s show and it really went over well with the crowd. From there I was anticipating it’s released. Listening to the full track I’m not disappointed at all! From start to finish the track showcases YOOKiE’s illustrious noises and mutations and is a really great spin on the original track. I personally think it is the best track off this remix EP.

3. All We Know (Dodge & Fuski Remix) – The Chainsmokers
Dodge & Fuski – Facebook | SoundCloud || The Chainsmokers – Facebook | SoundCloud
Little did I know, but a new remix EP from The Chainsmokers got dropped for their newest track “All We Know.” I’m really not a fan of the copious remixes that usually spur from these EP’s, but this Dodge & Fuski remix is killer! Keeping true to the original, the vocals are overall song sounds about similar to the original until it gets to the drop. In typical, Dodge & Fuski dubstep fashion, the drop rips into metallic noises, synths and bass that really elevate this remix above the rest! Check it out!
2. Tesseract – CRaymak
CRaymak – Facebook | SoundCloud
I actually completely stumbled upon this song while listening to the Circus Records compilation. I was really surprised at what I found! I have not heard of CRaymak before at all either, but his fusion of hybrid trap and dubstep is incredible. The overall energy of this track is great and it keeps you interested from start to finish. Not really much more I can say about this track – it’s one of those songs you have to listen to, to get the full effect!
1. Gully Squad – 12th Planet x Virtual Riot x Twine
12th Planet – Facebook | SoundCloud || Virtual Riot – Facebook | SoundCloud | Twine – Facebook | SoundCloud
Oh boy, where to start on this track. First off, I’m super excited for the upcoming 12th Planet EP set to release early December. This track, “Gully Squad” is the first single to release from EP. With a star-studded lineup with the likes of Virtual Riot and Twine joining 12th on this, I knew it would be a wild ride. From the beginning of the track to the end its high intensity and high energy and a lot of dubstep sounds….perfect. The track is well produced and is a great representation of what the EP will be like!
