Prioritize Pleasure and Press Play on Sian's 'Hedonism'

Sian’s latest album rides listeners through a sensory wormhole featuring the steamy vibrations of techno, indie, industrial, and dark disco!

Since Hedonism‘s announcement in February, Sian has been teasing fans with its sonic treats. After two EPs, This Music with Sasha Carassi featuring a remix from Maori and The Abyss featuring a remix from DJ Hell, the Octopus Recordings boss has officially brought the experience to a climax.

The full package boasts ten diverse tracks featuring a few special friends who crank up the ecstasy. LUMI is the first to rise, gifting her sensual soundwaves to “Body Won’t Stop.” This track nailed it as the album’s tone-setter, and from here, the body loosens up as tracks like “Intoxicada” featuring Alexia Malo and “Feel Electric” featuring Kid Moxie leave listeners flushed from the interaction.

Two tracks that allow you to completely lose yourself are “Black T-Shirt” featuring David LeSal, and “Pretty Fist,” bonding Sian with Victoria Rawlins and Kieron Menzies. The former talks of a crush that you simply can’t get off your mind, watching from a distance as their body does the talking. The latter is up for interpretation, but its poetic essence feels like a soft kiss from a smoking hot lover.

Sian runs solo in the last four tracks as we continue to be voyeurs in his eccentric world. “The Abyss,” “Memories,” and “Hexen” share dark common ground, but you’ll notice a gradual increase in energy as each track passes. The progression feels like a spicy encounter in the corner of a dark club before the final track, “I Just Can’t Stop,” has us begging for another go-round.
