MEDUZA Explores Duality in Self-Titled Double EP

MEDUZA’s self-titled double EP showcases their sonic diversity and features tracks that propelled the group to the upper echelon of the scene.

There’s no denying the infectious nature of MEDUZA’s releases. Whether you’re into radio-ready tracks like “Piece Of Your Heart” with Goodboys and “Paradise” with Dermot Kennedy, or their darker side, brimming with tracks like “Headrush” with Elroii and “Under Pressure” with Vintage Culture and Ben Samama, there’s something for every music aficionado to enjoy.

This year has proved to be no different as MEDUZA continues to dive deeper into their expansive soundscapes and dominate decks worldwide. Summer saw the trio jetsetting to play festivals like Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, and Airbeat One. They also recently wrapped up their Our House residency at Hï Ibiza with James Hype, and they will be taking the project to Amsterdam Dance Event later this month while instating a no-phones initiative.

Among all of their success as of late arrives MEDUZA’s self-titled double EP, which features 12 tracks divided into two sides. The first grouping, Room 1, explores a selection of their most celebrated singles, including “Tell It To My Heart” with Hozier and “Lose Control” with Becky Hill and Goodboys, that have catapulted the trio into commercial success.

Meanwhile, Room 2 offers a deeper glimpse into the trajectory of their music and where they stand now as artists. Singles like “Friends” and “Everything You Have Done” with GENESI touch on MEDUZA’s dark underground nature, where influences of ’90s-inspired rave, trance, and house music collide. Fans will also be pleased to finally see three new releases after being constantly rinsed throughout their sets; “Ecstasy,” “Obsession,” and “Back Again” hypnotize the mind and draw listeners through a sonic journey, further cementing the group’s diverse production capabilities.

This collection of music is a very proud moment for all three of us, we never expected so much love and support over the last five years and we are so thankful to all the people we have worked with on our music and all the people around the world that have listened and supported us. This project tells the story and journey from the beginning of Meduza to where we are now as artists and a feeling of where we will go in the future.
