When we last checked in with LO’99 he was lighting up the dance floor during his debut in Los Angeles. Since then, he’s played in San Francisco, Washington, Chicago and San Diego; not bad for the up and coming Australia DJ/producer’s inaugural US tour. Now, he’s back with three new tracks. First up are two mixes of his track “Make Me Feel” which are out courtesy of LO’s personal label, Medium Rare Recordings. Both show his range and ability to flip an original track into two distinct styles through his skilled production. The Warehouse mix gives more of a club vibe while the Broken Mix goes in deep and heavy with the bass. Both versions have received love across the board from The Magician, Tommy Trash and Night Bass head, AC Slater.

I distinctly recall Lo dropping this third track, his remix of Low Steppa’s track “Runnin’” during his LA performance at Avalon. The crowd went wild to the summer infused track mixed with signature heavy bass lines that have become synonymous with his name. The track is out on Armada Deep and has already received multiple positive reviews.

These three tracks are the perfect segue from LO’s American tour to his return to home to Australia where he’ll begin his 15-date tour. They display his range and variety as a remixer and original producer. Be sure to keep an ear out for him, I have a feeling the best is yet to come!
