Gift Yourself Some Bass with ‘Disciple Alliance Vol. 7’

in New Releases

Disciple just released the seventh volume of their Disciple Alliance compilation series featuring some of the freshest dubstep tunes of the year.

Christmas came early this year for dubstep fans near and far as Disciple, known for their star-studded roster and impressive releases, has gifted everyone with the latest volume of Disciple Alliance. The seventh volume in the series features 19 all-new tracks from a range of standout artists and OG headliners who have graced the imprint and joined their ranks.

Despite having a reputation for mainly supporting dubstep and riddim on their label, Disciple Alliance Vol. 7 doesn’t just bring forth elevated sounds from those genres but other stylistic influences that range from drum and bass to future bass as well. Artists who have landed tracks on this edition include the likes of Dirtyphonics, Barely Alive, Ray Volpe, and Modestep, among others.

While each carefully crafted tune brings the heat to keep you warm during the cold winter ahead, some standouts deserve to be mentioned. “Around Here” sees Bainbridge team up with Virus Syndicate for a wall-to-wall banger of a tune that brings graveling synths, rolling bass, and heavy drops. Terravita’s “The Bag Man” showcases a unique mix of jump-up style drum and bass with the hardcore elements of modern dubstep to create a hard-hitting track that you’ll want to listen to again and again.

Others such as Myro’s “Who Dem,” Graphyt’s “New Hop,” and Chibs’ “Full Power” all complement this series’ take on variety and fresh ideas in the realm of bass music as well. And as much as the underground sound is supported, Alliance Vol. 7 also features hot new tracks from fan favorites. These include Virtual Riot’s “Don’t Need You,” Samplifire’s “Mercia,” Barely Alive’s “Flak Jacket,” and PhaseOne’s “Enemy VIP,” to name a few. At the same time, Eliminate’s “Let You Go” and Ray Volpe’s “Pretty Much” are sure to have listeners headbanging away in no time at all.
