Hidden within the vast depths of nature you’ll find the creations of UNKNWN and be taken on unimaginable journeys of Growth.

When an artist can take you to places that paint vivid pictures in your mind with their sound and leave you transfixed, it’s such a powerful and beautiful experience. And someone who has an uncanny ability to do that is none other than UNKNWN. His sounds perfectly embody nature and all things dark and spooky, forever leaving you craving more. Earlier this year, he released The Purple Fern mixtape, which was packed with those emotions and tons of unreleased goodies. Now, UNKNWN is releasing two tracks found within that on his latest creation, Growth.

UNKNWN transports listeners to unimaginable, and sometimes eerie, places, and Growth does that yet again. Within the two tracks, you can feel the energy that UNKNWN poured into them as he whisks fans away into the depths of his mind while also showcasing the personal growth he’s experienced during this time.

He kicks off the EP with “The Purple Fern,” which takes listeners on a journey through dark woodlands, covered in a dense blanket of fog. The track is filled with magical elements and an eclectic array of sounds. Slow, downtempo beats guide listeners through the forest as they search for a purple fern while getting lost in the beauty of the unknown.

“Growth” leans a little more on the darker side as listeners embark on the next chapter of the journey. The environment is brooding, yet at the same time, hopeful. Just like emerging from a dark storm, and coming out to something new and beautiful on the other side. Throughout the track, fans will hear those signature UNKNWN sounds, while also being met with a little softer side. This exceptionally talented producer continues to blow us away with each and every release. Growth is just another reminder of what he’s bringing to the table.

These two tracks were made during a period when I really wanted to push myself to be more melodic with my music. I grew a lot by forcing myself to work on a part of my creative process that I felt was my weakest. We often need to force ourselves to Grow to see the results we want. This EP represents that
