Rylan Taggart continues to leave his growing fanbase impressed with each passing release and now he’s gifted us all with a fresh mix.
Since breaking onto the scene, Rylan Taggart has made some waves with his bliss-inducing style of house music. Continually honing his craft from his home in Vancouver, he’s caught the ear of fellow artists and tastemakers in the scene alike as his releases and performances evoke a range of emotions. Further proving this point, he’s landed multiple releases that have received plenty of praise on renowned labels including This Never Happened, Purified, and Ton Töpferei.
While this year was filled with plenty of hurdles and ups and downs, Rylan Taggart has stayed true to his mission of bringing forth fantastic music for fans to feast their ears on. Delivering serene soundscapes on EPs like Trust You on Purified and Sail on This Never Happened while also taking the reins to remix Lane 8’s “Sunday Song” (featured in the Electric Mile teaser), it’s more clear than ever before that the sky is the limit for this rising star.
Now, as the final weeks of 2020 loom on the horizon, Rylan Taggart has spun a mix to help celebrate his most recent releases and showcase the influences he draws from Vancouver. “This mix features The Room, which is from my newest EP, Trust You. I also included a few tracks from some close friends, such as Massane, who is an incredible producer from France,” he said when asked about the mix, “A lot of my inspiration comes from living in Vancouver, Canada, where I am immersed in the local landscape, ocean, and mountains. Being in such a rainy climate definitely motivates me to write in a much more melancholic fashion, while still trying to maintain a clubby feel.”
