Enamour makes his return to Crosstown Rebels with the mesmerizing What U Said EP, featuring a remix from rising DJ duo and recent label signees Bonfique.
LA-based artist Enamour has become a favorite among melodic house fans for his ability to combine hypnotic grooves with wistful energy that lingers long after the music ends. With influences from jazz, indie, and piano, his productions carry an introspective quality that remains deeply immersive and dancefloor-ready. Now, Enamour returns to Crosstown Rebels with another captivating collection of mystical storytelling and melodic rhythms crafted just right for Damian Lazarus‘ iconic label. The title track sets the tone with bright instrumental percussion and crisp, driving rhythms that propel the track forward. “It is about the moment language turns physical; when words create a chemical reaction you can’t take back,” Enamour said. “It taps into the same quirky energy as my other records on the label, which I think heightens the feeling of surprise as the instrumental meanders underneath SAM SHI’s vocal.”
Dialing up the energy further, rising DJ duo Bonafique bring an infectious pulse to their reimagined take of “What U Said.” Infused with their signature indie dance sensibility, the remix delivers an effortless bounce, transforming it into a buoyant, high-energy track. Bringing the journey to a satisfying close, this propulsive track has been a longtime favorite in Enamor’s live sets. “Dip” finally receives its official release in this EP, much to the delight of listeners who have been eagerly awaiting its arrival.
