Rising Egyptian artist Fulltone brings intricate rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes to Rebellion in his latest two-track EP, Depth Over Distance.
Cairo-based DJ/producer Amr Khaled, better known as Fulltone, carries a name that reflects the way music unifies expansive sounds and diverse influences into a harmonious expression. His production infuses varied beats and melodies, each seamlessly merging to create a “full tone” of perfect cohesion. An artist who is constantly evolving, Fulltone has released music on labels such as All Day I Dream, Klassified, and Folder. Driven by his desire to push boundaries, he now arrives on Rebellion with his latest two-track EP, Depth Over Distance.

Lately I’ve been listening a lot to electronic music from the early 2000s. I wanted to create something that feels a bit nostalgic, but also carries some grunge. I experimented with running my synthesizers through guitar pedals to add texture and depth. Like always, it started as a jam and evolved over weeks, sometimes months, until I felt it was finally complete.
