No Mana Delivers Quality Electro Grooves on Latest Album

After taking his talents to Monstercat, No Mana has officially released his latest album that will have you dancing right along to it, I Contain Flashing Images.

While many producers in the electronic music scene might focus solely on creating music and honing their skills as DJs, No Mana has gone above and beyond by exploring his love for pixel art along the way. From the onset of this video game-loving artist’s career, custom visuals have been paired with the quality electro grooves that he’s created, many of which feature flashing graphics. Now, No Mana has fully leaned into that with the release of his latest album, I Contain Flashing Images.

Out now on Monstercat Instinct, I Contain Flashing Images isn’t just a fantastic album with 15 tracks that showcase No Mana’s production prowess; it’s also a callback to the warning frame he’s been asked to use in his stimulating visuals. “I wasn’t just going to slap a warning label on every single visual I do. Instead, I decided to make it an album, and now a part of my brand forever,” No Mana shared. “Now no one can say I didn’t tell them so. I make uncomfortable visuals. My brand is now a warning sign for it.”

True to form, No Mana created a vibrant A/V set for I Contain Flashing Images that help tell its story, which is rooted in his own persona and how he experiences life. As for the music, there are so many standout tracks throughout the album. Solo productions like “Solarpunk,” “City2City,” “Garage17,” and “Lost Call” all show off how he layers in influences from electro, progressive house, and more throughout his soundscapes.

While those solo tunes carry listeners through the album’s storyline, the collaborations pack just as much of a punch. From “Digital Friends” with SOFI and “Hopeless” with Feed Me and Bertie Scott to “Underwater” with Isis Rose and “Everlasting” with EMSKI, you can’t help but fall in love with the dance-ready energy and stirring vocals. And you should put on the two tracks with Leyla Diamondi, “Falling In Love” with vowl and “Luxor Aeterna,” if you want to take a quality trip to a different realm of existence.

Check out the full A/V Set for I Contain Flashing Images on YouTube, stream the album on your preferred platform, and grab tickets for No Mana’s forthcoming tour that kicks off on June 7.
