Lauren Mia Offers New Twists of Tracks Off ‘RE:BIRTH’

in New Releases

Lauren Mia looks to Anakim, Alfa Romero, Zieze, Binaryh, Fat Cosmoe, and more for remixes of tracks off her stunning album RE:BIRTH.

Lauren Mia splashed onto the scene in a huge way last year with the release of her debut album, RE:BIRTH. This collection of tunes was warmly received by the community, garnering support from artists and fans alike as she whisked everyone away into a cosmic soundscape filled with techno and progressive elements. Now, just half a year later, Lauren Mia has looked to other budding artists in the scene to put their spin on tracks from the album.

The artists selected for RE:BIRTH Remixes span the globe, including the likes of Alfa Romero, Aalson, Anakim, MANTi, Zieze, OIBAF, SKALA, and more. Each producer honors the powerful nature of the original track, yet marries it with their own style to create a refreshing soundscape that will let you see it in a new light. While all of the remixes are fantastic, there are a few that stand tall, so let’s dive in.

Fat Cosmoe’s take on “Saturn Return” leads the charge, and this remix is an absolute stunner. Otherworldly elements play with the track’s vocals to set the tone for what’s to come. “Mortemerre” was already a massive track on the album and there was no better artist to put their spin on it than Anakim. He delivers a dark, brooding bassline that kicks you right in the gut to start everything off before warbled, almost ominous synths creep in as the seconds tick away.

Two more quality remixes arrive in the latter half of the collection. Alfa Romero’s twist of “Shadow” is a captivating, space-fueled ride that will leave you feeling like you’re traveling between two distant planets. Meanwhile, MANTi’s remix of “Lakshmi” is one of the most powerful of the bunch with its punchy kicks and frenetic breakdowns that are perfectly fit for any party.
