Kick Your New Years Weekend Off Right With Rock Bottom Records’ Ninth Compilation

The ninth installment of the Rock Bottom Records’ compilation series highlights Randy Biscuit, Tewax, Chaco, ATTICUS, and more!

Rock Bottom Compilation, Vol. 9 has officially arrived, and it comes packed with the New Year’s energy the entire industry craves. Rock Bottom Records Co-Owner Luxo and A&R RUMPUS have handpicked a wiley group of producers for this one, and they’ve proven what it takes to get bodies on the dancefloor!

Hot on the bouncy heels of “Chrome” by Luxo, PINEO, and LOEB, this rousing seven-tracker hits the ground running with “Tell Me” by Arizona’s own FREMONT. His offering marries airy vocals with a warm and welcoming tech house beat, pulling listeners off the couch and into a festive state of mind. “Get It” by Slynk and Crazy Daylight is up next, flinging out funky fresh beats to level up the fun.

Now that we’re unified in the groove, Avi Sic and Smith & Sorren spice things up with the sexy soundwaves of “Like That.” Tewax then transports listeners to the Middle East where we sway to the cultural essence of “La La.” But don’t get too relaxed, because when Australian house hedonist Randy Biscuit barges into the room, he kidnaps the subconscious with the moody vibrations of “Bad Dreams (Is This Love)” featuring Willoway.

Chaco and ATTICUS swing by to rescue the mind from madness, inspiring happy thoughts with the glowing sonics of “Pump It.” As the song’s infectious lyrics cavort through the brain, CHIPZ slides in with the unhinged bop of “Pqp,” circling us back into a state of insanity. By the time you reach the end of Rock Bottom Compilation, Vol. 9, you’ll be tempted to do it all over again — and hey, we don’t blame you!

Maria first fell in love with electronic music in the early 2000's when she heard a little tune called "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi. Since then she has dived headfirst into the scene and is wildly passionate about the trance, techno, and house genres. Festival's like EDC, Dreamstate, and Dirtybird Campout hold the key to her soul and dance music will always and forever be a major part of her life.
