Nostalgix is entering the next phase of her career with the news of her forthcoming EP, Star City, on Monstercat and a winter headline tour.
There’s been no stopping Nostalgix as she’s risen through the ranks of the scene. This blossoming bass house artist has graced labels ranging from Confession and Night Bass to Insomniac Records and UKF while taking the stage at some of the scene’s biggest festivals like EDC Las Vegas, HARD Summer, and more along the way. This year has seen Nostalgix continue her sonic journey by landing releases on Barong Family and Monstercat, and the latter of the two will be the home for the next era of her sound found on the Star City EP.
While fans will have to wait just a little bit longer for her debut EP on Monstercat to be unveiled, they can get a taste of the soundscapes she’s crafted with today’s release of “Lockdown.” This single sees Nostalgix team up with UK-based MC Scrufizzer, whose grime-fueled flow fits perfectly with her booming basslines to create a dancefloor-ready experience for listeners.
The upcoming EP on Monstercat isn’t the only exciting news for fans of Nostalgix, as she’s set to embark on a tour of North America this winter that will showcase tracks from the release and more. The Star City Tour kicks off on January 12 in Atlanta before she heads to cities like Nashville, Vancouver, Calgary, Las Vegas, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, and more before a TBA show on March 30.
