Trance duo XiJaro & Pitch are Chasing Dreams as they link with Flight For Sight to educate, inspire, and thrive!
In 2020, when the pandemic was pulling everyone to Twitch, XiJaro & Pitch did something extraordinary. They used their platform to spread awareness and raise funds to combat a rare disease that the majority of the world has never heard of before. It’s called Norrie disease, and it only occurs in one out of several hundred thousand people. However, Anthony “Pitch” Reyers is one of those individuals, unable to see and slowly losing his hearing, yet has mastered the art of DJing and production through it all!
The aforementioned four-day fundraiser was called Chasing Dreams, and that dream ultimately grew into a weekly podcast. In 2022, the original virtual fundraiser came back around, this time with a massive festival-style facelift. To this day, the project continues to touch the entire industry—case and point: the recently released Chasing Dreams Vol. 1.
This captivating two-disc compilation features some of the best beat-makers on the planet, including Markus Schulz, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Ferry Corsten, Emma Hewitt, Solarstone, Driftmooon, and many more. But what makes this release even more important is that a portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Norrie Disease Foundation. That’s how you make a difference.
But XiJaro & Pitch didn’t stop there. They’ve teamed up with Flight For Sight, a non-profit organization that offers grants to blind individuals so that they can get out in the world and live their best lives while educating communities and people within reach. As part of this union, Anthony stepped in front of the camera to tell his full story. Formatted as a mini docu-series, he hopes to answer any questions you may have about his life or disease.
In the first episode, he dives into his history and gives us a glimpse into the technology he uses daily. As the following episodes unfold, you’ll join him as he travels solo around this spinning rock in the cosmos, making amazing memories with the trance family.
