Township Rebellion and NoNameLeft have joined forces in the studio to bring melodic techno lovers two fresh tracks on Expand Now / Adriana Said.
It’s safe to say that Township Rebellion has been on quite the rise in the techno scene over the past few years. From performing at major festivals and nightclubs around the world to releasing tunes on labels ranging from Rose Avenue and Factory 93 Records to Stil Vor and Filth on Acid, everything this duo touches seems to turn to gold. Earlier this year, Township Rebellion continued to dive deeper into the techno realm by releasing Bohemia / Mephisto on beloved imprint Truesoul. Now, they’ve returned with another pair of soundscapes in tow.
Out now across all platforms is Expand Now / Adriana Said, the latest two-tracker from the German duo. This time around, though, Township Rebellion wasn’t alone in the creation of the tracks as they’ve looked to another rising pair of artists in the scene, NoNameLeft, to make for a fantastic collaboration. The foursome took their influences from techno and paired them with those from other genres, like trance, to create a deep, dynamic soundscape that will leave your body moving right along with it.
“Expand Now” opens the two-tracker with a subdued beat and breathy vocals before the bassline really kicks in to begin the descent into this atmospheric realm of Township Rebellion and NoNameLeft’s creation. From the moments where it feels like you’re gliding weightlessly up to the heavens to those where you’re driven back to the planet by the forces of gravity, you can’t help but fall in love with this track.
The following tune, “Adriana Said,” picks up right where “Expand Now” left off as the journey into this unique place in space and time continues. Layered elements wrap around the mind throughout this soundscape to create a mesmerizing experience that will leave you at the whim of these two duos. Don’t sleep on these tracks if you’re looking for an escape from the everyday world.
