Lab Group enters a new era as they drop two fresh statement tracks for their faithful fans since the release of their debut, self-titled EP.

Being the lead research group in the electronic music scene isn’t an easy feat, but the pertinacious crew of Lab Group aren’t afraid of a little hard work. The beauty of this dream team is that their eclectic individuality comes together as one and combines an unfathomable amount of wide-range talent. This beautiful union of mind-power has produced some of the most newfangled and addictive sounds on the airwaves.

This year has seen more of Lab Group on the road than in previous years, and fans could not be happier to catch the beloved group back on the road. So far, they have made memorable appearances at Sound Haven and Secret Dreams and are set to grace the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre later this month as direct support for REZZ. If you’ve been lucky to catch a recent set, you’ve probably noticed some fresh frequencies from the group. Many will be happy to hear that some irresistible IDs have finally surfaced for obsessive consumption.

This week, Lab Group blessed streaming services with two new tracks, and believe us when we say they were worth the wait. The first of the two tracks had fans in an absolute uproar. “Zoom In” made its presence known and said it with its chest. tiedye ky leads the way with riot-inducing lyrics as Potions sets the scene with electric riffs that will cause you to have the zoomies. Once the hype has reached sky limits, the track turns with elegantly angelic music as a quote about power in unanimity in opposition, leaving listeners in deep thought.

Entering the space light as a feather, “Dipping” instantly showcases Ruku’s graceful and enkindling vocals. Her enticing voice delivers painfully true lyrics that linger in your mind until she fills the void once more. The thought-provoking words with Supertask‘s familiar comfort-inducing sound design make you feel like you’re floating in a body of water. This relaxing yet testing ballad creates the perfect escape for anyone reaching for a long-overdue emotional release. Whether you need a rise in heart rate or a moment of grounding, Lap Group provides the perfect spread of sounds within the two bodies of work.

Treat yourself to Lab Group’s latest releases on Spotify or your favorite platform, and keep your eyes peeled on their Twitter to see what they’re up to next!
