Disclosure takes creativity back into their own hands and releases their fourth studio, Alchemy, on Apollo Records!

Disclosure has been a staple in the dance music scene over the past decade with beloved tracks including “Latch” and “Omen” with Sam Smith, “White Noise” with Aluna, and “Nocturnal” with The Weeknd, not to mention the duo’s impressive albums and iconic performances. Now, after celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Settle, Guy and Howard Lawrence have surprised their fans with Alchemy, their fourth studio album that’s been independently released on their label, Apollo Records via AWAL Recordings.

Leaning into their individual strengths Alchemy comes together with a renewed and refreshing spirit where Guy and Howard dive deeper into their roots while exploring a whole new realm of creative freedom. Born after they concluded their album tour for ENERGY, this collection of tracks sees the duo draw inspiration from their individual experiences as they navigated being at different points of their lives.

Alchemy is a testament to genuine artistic expression and comes to fruition in a beautifully cultivated collection of tracks, with each taking on a life of its own. The album is full of dance-forward UKG rhythms, pulsing breakbeats, intimate songwriting, and everything in between, with another unique aspect thrown in – there are no guest features and no samples used throughout its 11 tracks. Instead, it’s just pure sonic bliss from Disclosure.

This record is a celebration of us feeling liberated right now. We’re no longer signed to a major record label. We’re not going to tour this record. We can do whatever we like and be super creative.

Guy Lawrence

The feeling of creative freedom is palpable in every track and displays just how iconic Disclosure truly is. From the completely open-hearted “Looking For Love” to the hopeful and optimistic “Someday…” the duo has tapped into a deeper more euphoric sound than ever before. Other standouts on Alchemy include the blissed-out “Sun Showers,” the bittersweet “A Little Bit,” and the vibrant “Simply Won’t Do.” Lend your ears to the authentic life experiences magically turned to audible ear candy and usher in a new era of Disclosure.
