Ben Prophet Drops Fresh EP on Radical New Theory

**Rising Irish artist Ben Prophet takes his talents to HAAi and Alice Pelly’s Radical New Theory with the dynamic From Dusk EP.**

Ireland has been home to countless electronic music artists who have risen through the ranks with quality tunes in tow, and Ben Prophet is one of the newest to turn heads. The past few years have seen this Irish DJ and producer churn out some fantastic tracks in the realm of house and techno that include “Foolish Dub,” “King Of Rock,” and “Live N Direct.” Now, he’s looking to make a splash with his latest EP, From Dusk, which has landed on Radical New Theory.

The From Dusk EP isn’t a run-of-the-mill release in the dance music scene. Instead, it acts as a declaration of love for the underground from Ben Prophet as he explores his passion for techno, bassline, and more. Speaking about the EP and the importance of it being on Radical New Theory, he said, “HAAi has been one of the biggest inspirations for my sound, so to have become friends and to release my music on her label Radical New Theory is a massive moment for me. I’ve taken a different approach on each track, but each has my signature sound and is ready for the dance floor.”

“Telepathy” kicks off the EP as Ben Prophet throws down some techno heat with a repeated vocal sample and booming bassline that will rattle your speakers. Once your engines are fully revved up, it’s time to take a trip “Down The Rabbit Hole.” This club-ready track features percussion that you can’t help but move your body to, while the vocal will have your mind hypnotized within moments of it gracing your ears.

Ben Prophet explores his industrial side on “Ocarina” while littering the soundscape with lighter electronica elements that play in contrast to the rest of the track’s grittier, mechanical atmosphere. Then, the title track closes the release with a psychedelic ride featuring a throbbing bassline and trippy modulated vocals that give way to a vibrant melody that is sure to leave you lost in your emotions.
