Portola Festival is coming back for its second edition with an incredible lineup featuring Eric Prydz, Skrillex, Purple Disco Machine, and many more!
Last year, Goldenvoice’s Portola Festival made a newsworthy debut in San Francisco. Named after the Portola Festival of 1909, that marked the reopening of San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake, last year symbolized the city’s reopening, once again, post-pandemic. This brand new experience with an electronic-leaning roster would enter the scene with a bang. Despite some logistical challenges throughout the weekend, an impressive lineup, a picturesque setting on the south end of the city, and large-scale production made for a grand inaugural edition.
After some funny and cryptic social media posts, Portola Festival returns to Pier 80 from September 30 – October 1 and today, unveiled its massive lineup. Portola Festival is letting us know they are not here to play with these heavy hitters. Headlining are none other than Eric Prydz with his visually spectacular HOLO production, and Skrillex, who both had historic performances at Coachella last month. Making a special guest appearance are Chris Lake and Armand Van Helden to throw down a b2b set.
Also billed are Major Lazer who will go b2b with Major League DJZ, Purple Disco Machine, Dom Dolla, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Bonobo, and Azzecca. So whether you’re into the funkier, groovy side of things, or the punchy beats of house music. Portola has something for you! Outside of electronic dance music, attendees can catch Nelly Furtado, Jai Paul (who also just performed for the first time ever at Coachella), Labrinth, and Pablo Vittar, among others.
Presales for Portola passes starts on Monday, May 22 at 10 AM PT. Register for presales on the official Portola website, and let us know you’re most excited to see on Twitter.
