1985 Music’s Alix Perez is set to embark on a tour of North America and is hitting cities including Atlanta, New York, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and more.
A man of few words but big drum patterns, the don himself, Alix Perez, will be crossing the proverbial pond and gracing North American decks all summer long. Much to the delight of his fans, the tour announcement includes two legs, the first occurring the first three weeks of June and the second picking up steam from the end of July through the beginning of August.
The first volume of Alix Perez’s tour begins on June 2 at Karma in Washington D.C., before heading over to play a Define Everything Future event in Atlanta the following day. From there, he’ll be getting into a groove as the tour routes through New York, Austin, Miami, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Vancouver, along with appearances at Dirtybird CampINN (June 8-June 11) and Sonic Bloom (June 15-18).
The second volume of the tour kicks off on July 20 at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco, a classic big room for ravers, and Alix Perez will continue from there to the annual basshead mecca gathering that is Shambhala Music Festival (July 21-July 24) in Salmo, British Columbia. Afterward, he will be venturing away from the coast, playing for audiences in Salt Lake City, Dallas, and a two-nighter in Chicago, along with two dates to be announced. The tour finds its end at the Electric Playhouse in Albuquerque and this year’s highly anticipated Hard Summer Festival in Los Angeles.
Didn’t see your city in one of the list of tour stops? Have no fear! Alix Perez has already hinted that Denver will be one of the TBA stops in the comments to his Instagram post, and given the breadth of the already-announced cities, we are sure that he will not let any basshead fall behind. Tickets for his tour are on sale now via the respective venue’s websites so make sure to grab them before they sell out!
