A year after making his debut on Anjunadeep, Steven Weston returns to the beloved imprint with three immersive tracks.
Music has been integral to Steven Weston ever since the days he spent growing up in Portsmouth. First learning to play the organ, he quickly fell in love with electronic music at an early age and hasn’t looked back as he continues to gain a growing fanbase with each passing release and performance. From his years as a resident DJ in Spain to working with artists like Charli XCX, Rudimental, and The KLF, he’s only further impressed along the way. In 2022, this Grammy-nominated artist found a home on Anjunadeep with his EP, Alter The Flow, and now he’s returned to the imprint with another helping of tunes.
Steven Weston’s Luminous Cloud EP is out now across all platforms and delivers a dose of serene sounds that will leave listeners captivated. The ride into the bright skies begins with “Nimbus,” a melodic house-driven tune that features a subtle bassline that grows to become powerful as the seconds tick away. That bassline, paired with piano notes, strings, and pensive moments, creates an ambiance that is sure to have you floating along with it.
The next two tracks, “You” and “Same Dream,” see Steven Weston look to Taé to join in on the fun as he fully displays her powerful, emotion-fueled vocals. The two had worked together previously on “One More Time” and “Everything Is Beautiful,” and these fresh tracks are a welcome addition to the EP. Anyone who loves progressive soundscapes will gravitate to these tunes; they’re simply stunning with blissful melodies that will leave you basking in all of their glory as you’re swept away into a dream-like state of mind.
