The biggest week in dance music, Amsterdam Dance Event, is almost here, and announcements of new showcases are rolling in by the day. The latest to be revealed arrives from Monstercat, who just dropped the details for the debut edition of the Monstercat Silk Showcase. Set to take place prior to the Monstercat Label Showcase, this special night will see some fantastic melodic artists take the stage at Melkweg on October 20.
Since Monstercat acquired Silk Music just a over a year ago, the label has continued to expand to add more artists to its roster and reach even greater heights. This has seen recent additions to the imprint like ATTLAS, along with longtime artists continuing to churn out some of the most immersive tunes in the realms of melodic and progressive house.
The Monstercat Silk Showcase is packing a punch during ADE with the lineup for the debut edition by bringing some of the most beloved producers in the scene to the stage. This includes legendary artist BT and Japanese melodic pioneer Shingo Nakamura, along with PROFF and Vintage & Morelli, who have both impressed over the past few years with their deep productions. This four-hour affair that runs from 7pm to 11pm is sure to sweep attendees off their feet, so don’t sleep on it if you’re on the hunt for some of the best progressive and melodic house sounds on the planet.
