Lilly Palmer Takes Control of Everyone’s Soul on New EP

Lilly Palmer makes her debut on Drumcode with the We Control EP that’s filled with four techno tunes that will put you in a trance.

Since taking her first steps into the underground world of house techno back in 2015, Lilly Palmer has continued to captivate dance music lovers with her deep, powerful soundscapes that are prominently put on display in her releases and sets. From early tunes that landed on labels like Natura Viva and Skull And Bones to more recent ones on Octopus Records and Space Monki, there is seemingly nothing stopping in her path of domination.

Now, after releasing “Amnesie” on Drumcode in the collection of tunes on A-Sides Vol. 10 in 2020, Lilly Palmer is looking to stir up some energy with her debut EP on the imprint, We Control. Clocking in at four tracks, this fresh release from the techno maven is filled to the brim with driving beats that will warp your mind and take you directly to the center of the dancefloor at a packed warehouse.

The title track “We Control” leads the way with a quick bassline before the classic rave elements are layered in for maximum effect. The rave stabs pair perfectly with the synths and thudding beat to really take control of your soul. “Resistance” to Lilly Palmer’s dominating nature is futile when the next tune begins to play as she builds tension and releases it with just the right amount of melodic elements throughout its runtime.

“Plasma” enters the fray next to keep the energy going. This one is perfect for those peak hours of the night when the nightclub is billowing heat and flashes of minimal lighting elements are the only thing that shows off how packed the dancefloor truly is. Then, Lilly Palmer ties the EP together with “Don’t Look Back” – and once you’ve gotten this far on your journey into the depths of the techno realm you may as well keep moving forward. The deep vibes and vocals on this one make it stand tall among the rest, so make sure to give it a spin.

This EP helps further prove why Lilly Palmer is one of the hottest names in techno today, and we can’t wait to see what she brings in the future. Listen to the We Control EP on Spotify or your preferred platform and let us know which track is your favorite in the comments!
