Dynamic duo Crystal Skies blurs genre lines and looks to past influences for the release of their debut album, Not Since When.

Since first breaking onto the scene, Crystal Skies has crafted up some sensational releases in the realm of future bass and melodic dubstep. Known for creating colossal soundscapes that are dripping in emotion on EPs such as Collide and Constellations on Ophelia, along with tracks like “Used To Love” with Ekko on Enhanced. More recently, Crystal Skies looked to Lost In Dreams to release a flurry of singles in 2021 and even played the debut edition of the brand’s curated festival in Las Vegas.

Now, Crystal Skies is roaring into the new year with their debut album on Lost In Dreams, Not Since When, which features 12 tracks that are sure to leave listeners breathless. Leading with the title track that acts as a perfect intro with its airy elements before building with a touch of energy to get everyone prepped for the ride that’s just around the corner on the following tracks.

The pop-punk influence that Crystal Skies brings along with them is prominent throughout the journey on Not Since When. This drips through in the layers added into “Gold” that sees the duo team up with Luma, while the vocals from JASPR on “Nothing Ever Happened” will quickly stir up memories of listening to Blink-182 back in the late ’90s and early ’00s.

Collaborations permeate the entire tracklist and showcase how Crystal Skies can play well with others. These standouts include “Crazy While We’re Young” with JT Roach which is the perfect track for your summer fling, “Good Enough” which features stunning vocals from Diandra Faye, and “Gone” which adds in a touch of MitiS‘ impeccable sound design with powerful lyrics from Linney.
