Claude VonStroke Drops Dates for 'Your Dad Plays Great Music' Tour

Claude VonStroke is heading to Denver, Dallas, Portland, Phoenix, and more on the Your Dad Plays Great Music Tour this spring.

Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke has been on quite a ride over the past 15 years as both he and the imprint have taken massive strides forward in the scene. From fantastic albums to his sets that force your feet to shuffle along with his beats there has seemingly no stopping this force in house and techno. Now, with an upcoming Get Real set at CRSSD Festival Spring on the horizon, Claude VonStroke has dropped the details for his forthcoming tour as well.

Starting on March 11 in Dallas, Claude VonStroke will embark on the Your Dad Plays Great Music tour to hit cities across the US. This includes stops in Atlanta at District, Denver at The Church, Las Vegas at Discopussy, and Phoenix at Walter Where?house, among others. The final announced date of the tour is May 20 in Houston, but his website also teases that more dates will be announced and there’s a mystery show that is yet to be revealed early on in the tour as well.

Something notable about this tour is that Claude VonStroke will be going “back to the basics” and heading it up solo. There won’t be flashy lights, laser, or cryo blasting the crowd when he plays from start to finish on the dancefloor itself whenever possible. Instead, the focus will solely be on the music he curates selections for each night, so make sure to arrive early and leave late.
