Hermitude Drops Latest Single and Announces 'Mirror Mountain'

**Hermitude dropped a new single, “Promises” with Andie, and delivered the details on their forthcoming album Mirror Mountain.**

Since first breaking onto the scene, Hermitude has wowed fans around the world with their dance-fueled tunes and stunning performances at festivals like Lollapalooza, Lightning in a Bottle, HARD Summer, and more. Now, after gifting fans with albums like Dark Night Sweet Light and Pollyanarchy, the duo has announced the release of their latest body of work, Mirror Mountain.

Due out on May 6 via Nettwerk, Mirror Mountain will see Hermitude gift eight fresh tracks that tell a story about finding one’s way and grew out of a creative spurt that was found during the global lockdown. The duo had made it back to their home in Australia prior to everything shutting down and produced this album after escaping to the Blue Mountains with a simple setup of just a Moog Matriarch, a second synth, and a laptop.

Recording [‘Pollyanarchy’] was a fun experience, but it was also tiring. We wanted to strip everything back and return to the essence of why we started Hermitude in the first place, which was just us two locked in a studio in the mountains having a bit of fun and seeing what came out.

Paired with the news of Mirror Mountain‘s arrival this coming spring is a fresh tune for listeners to feast their ears on, “Promises.” For this track, Hermitude looked to Blue Mountain artist Andie to provide the vocals for its dynamic, dance-fueled beat that is sure to make anyone move along with it.
