Cour T. Remains Loyally ‘Confined’ to the Beat

Cour T. gets everyone swaying on the dancefloor to his infectious beats with his brand new EP on Dirtybird, Confined!

You can’t talk Dirtybird without mentioning the Brazilian wonder, Cour T. As the youngest member of the flock, he’s stepped up to the plate and showed us just how brilliant he is when it comes to making the beats that move our booties. The moment he debuted with “Black Magic” the flock fell head over heels in love and his outlandish soundscapes have kept him on our radar for the last two years. Today, Cour T. shows us that while his beats can get wild, he’s also a smooth operator with the ability to conduct a mature flow on the dancefloor. That being said, we welcome his Confined EP to show us the way.

The title track kicks off with a lovely pump, inviting us to softly slide our way into the crowd. Once we find our spot it’s time to look around and connect eyes with our fellow birds, ready to sway and groove together as one. As the percussive details lead the dance we begin to feel our bodies twitch with the sound. Gentle and carefree, the crowd finds its footing and we become lost in a sea of smiles and good intentions. This is what it feels like to be “Confined” among true music seekers and as the track bubbles and morphs the party hits a euphoric peak.

“White Wind Hoodie” keeps us locked in with one another as Cour T. drops the bassline octave down low. This throws a touch of sexiness into the atmosphere and inspires the flock to respectively mix and mingle as the movement in our hips becomes even more pronounced. This is the type of track that will make you forget everything but the smoldering rhythm, pulling us into a daydream as the rest of the world pulses off in a haze. If I close my eyes tight I can envision the crowd joyously adrift in the intensity as the lights twinkle and flash through the dark.

Since then she has dived headfirst into the scene and is wildly passionate about the trance, techno, and house genres. Festival's like EDC, Dreamstate, and Dirtybird Campout hold the key to her soul and dance music will always and forever be a major part of her life.
