Australian label Sweat It Out has teamed up with Apple Music to gift even more mixes for the world to hear with their Sweat Selects series.

Since first launching in 2008, Sweat It Out has become a true powerhouse in the dance music scene. Founded by the late DJ Ajax, this Sydney-based record label has delivered countless releases over the years while fostering even more on their sister label Club Sweat and throwing Sweat parties around the world. A small sampling of the artists who have graced the imprint includes the likes of Purple Disco Machine, What So Not, A-Trak, Anna Lunoe, and Crooked Colours, all of whom have dropped series stunners when joining the Sweat It Out ranks.

Sweat It Out’s track record speaks for itself, but today they’ve announced the latest chapter of their ongoing story with the news that they’ve teamed up with Apple Music to host a new mix series on the platform – Sweat Selects. Focused on supporting homegrown Australian artists both on and off the label, each mix will be centered around a specific theme. And to help launch this series into the cosmos and get it off to an energetic start, the label has looked to SLUMBERJACK to inject a dynamic range of beats directly into the eardrums of listeners around the world.

SLUMBERJACK has become known for their diverse range of soundscapes and for their mix they’ve selected a number of tunes that will help energize anyone tuning in. This includes artists like Leotrix, Rome In Silver, RamonPang, Dog Blood, Tails & Juelz, Sleepnet, TNGHT, and Rezz and DEATHPACT, while the duo layers in some of their own tracks and an ID for good measure as well.

“With so much music being churned out weekly, we are constantly striving to find tracks that keep us on our toes and surprise us – a novel sound, a new rhythm or something completely unexpected,” said SLUMBERJACK when asked about their track selection. “This mixtape is a collection of such gems, where artists have rejected the status quo and built something unique.”

Future editions of Sweat Selects are set to feature artists like Annie Bass and Mell Hall, with plenty more to arrive in the following months as well. Check out the first episode from SLUMBERJACK on Apple Music below and stay tuned for the release of their upcoming debut album DICHOTOMY on January 28 that’s available to pre-save now.
