Emerging Irish Artist Lukey Releases New EP 'Less Is More'

Up and coming house artist Lukey achieves a major milestone by delivering his three-track Less Is More EP on Hot Creations.

There is nothing quite like watching a young artist get their big break. Lukey made a name for himself in his home city of Dublin but this talented Irish artist has no intentions of stopping there with a growing number of high-quality tracks landing in his discography as of late. This included the Natural Groove EP and THE FREE SERIES, which featured an absolute heater dubbed “Intergalactic Groove,” as well as the Motivating Forces EP on IWANT Music earlier this year.

The most recent notch in Lukey’s belt comes in the form of his debut release on Jamie Jones’ renowned imprint Hot Creations with the Less Is More EP. This three-track release showcases his signature blend of deep, minimal house sounds with a groove that will have your feet floating to the dancefloor.

The lead track, “Less Is More,” kicks off the EP with a minimal yet bouncy beat, accompanied by rolling synths that make it light and airy. “Quick Tone” then takes the reins, delivering a pumping bassline that chugs forward with dubby undertones and spacey elements layered throughout. The final track “We Will Never Hear” rounds the EP out with a soothing beat that slowly builds with enough energy to get anyone’s feet moving. The classic deep house elements and stimulating vocals make this one a true standout among the collection.
