Antdot has the tools to make you feel weightless with his new EP Walking In The Clouds, out now on Braslive Records!

There’s quite a bit of buzz surrounding Antdot as he’s considered the future of melodic house by his vast circle of support in his home country of Brazil. To add to that point, the rest of the world is falling fast in love with his soothing soundwaves, seeing that all of his 2020 releases have reached Beatport’s Top 100 on the Progressive House chart. Today, we’re blessed with brand new Antdot music hitting the airwaves in the form of Walking In The Clouds, a four-track mini-journey that will lift you up into a state of pure bliss.

We begin with the title track that pushes out of the gate with a spicy drive and a soft lingering soundwave. Every once in a while your senses will be tickled with a gust of flittering details that inspire visions of butterflies dancing through the sun-soaked sky. If you close your eyes tight and let your imagination run wild you may notice that the sweet melody calls you to romp atop the puffy marshmallows suspended overhead. As you stretch out your arms and fall back into the silky sky pillows, like a beautiful dream, you’ll want to stay in this moment forever.

For the second track, Antdot is joined by fellow Brazilian producer Riascode, an artist supported by none other than Martin Garrix. “Only Way” dips us deeper into our hypnotic state and introduces a gorgeous vocal that glows among the billowing shadow-soaked sound elements. The melancholy ebb and flow of the vocal, matched with the spritely synth notes, cause a sizzle of emotion that will leave your mind in a profound state of contemplation while your body releases all of its tension on the dancefloor.

This sets us up perfectly for “Daydreaming,” a tune that charges up the electricity in our feet as the dissonant notes steal the show. But, the true magic happens in the build as suddenly the synths find their footing and hit warp speed, dropping you into a world where the haunting atmosphere locks you in for an extended stay. There’s a simple vocal element that adds just a touch of groove and it helps to balance the darkness with light before the second build twists the brain into chaos.

Closing out the experience, Antdot invites India’s own Savera to help bring “Landfill” to life. The gentle vocal pulls at the heartstrings while the real string elements sweep us up to walk, one final time, within the clouds of our own design. Like a cool breeze on a hot summer day, the melody will have you feeling wildly satisfied as it complements the passionate message. As for me, I’m about to go get lost out in the woods with this EP on repeat as the whimsical soundwaves guide my spirit to connect with mother earth.
