After making his debut on mau5trap earlier this summer, Lamorn has returned to the imprint with his latest two-track release, Lonely Light.
Lamorn impressed his growing following in the dance music scene earlier this year with the release of “Physical Layer” – a tune that not only marked his debut on mau5trap but arrived with plenty of praise for the producer from deadmau5 himself. Since then, he’s continued to hone his craft both in the studio and behind the decks, taking the stage recently in New York and being announced to play during Day of the deadmau5 in Miami later this year as well.
Now, Lamorn has unveiled his latest tunes to grace the imprint with the release of Lonely Light – and this two-track offering of electronic beats only further proves why he’s an artist you should be keeping an eye on in 2021. Leading the way is the title track that sees him team up with Molly Otto, and the pairing of these two artists is one that is simply sublime. On one side you have the high-quality synth work and alternative electronic elements from Lamorn, and on the other is the powerful voice of Otto who tugs at heartstrings as she belts out the lyrics.

Lamorn then goes solo on the second tune of the release as he dives into a glitch-fueled electro-pop tune that is laden with guitar riffs and spacey elements. The blend of these makes for the perfect summertime jam to play when driving around town at night, it just sets a proper groove that makes you want to boogie along with it and come back for another round.
