N3WPORT Plucks at Our Heartstrings with an Alluring Mix

Zachary Lefevre
N3WPORT

N3WPORT shows off his unique style and spins up a melodic bass mix that takes listeners on a journey through a deep range of emotions!

If you have been searching for high-energy tunes that equally pull at your heartstrings look no further than N3WPORT. The Washington D.C.-based producer is a rising star in the melodic and future bass realm and has been honing his craft since releasing remixes of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” and Twenty One Pilot’s “Stressed Out”. Last year, N3WPORT dove into the studio and released an astounding 16 tracks including official remixes for Judah & The Lion, WE ARE FURY, William Black, and Outwild, as well.

Now, N3WPORT has seen continued success in 2021, recently finding a home on SLANDER’s label Heaven Sent with his most emotional and heavy-hitting EP to date, Best Part Of Me. He will also be taking the stage at the duo’s debut of Starbase Music Festival event in October alongside other huge bookings like Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, NGHTMRE, San Holo, and Subtronics.

Dripping with talent and constantly working toward something greater, N3WPORT is quickly becoming an artist you simply can’t ignore, and to help further prove that he’s spun up a mix for the This Is Home series. The 30-minute mix begins with an angelic rendition of The Kid LAROI’s “Without You” before transitioning into SLANDER’s “Hurts Sometimes” featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn.

As the mix progresses we are greeted with tracks full of emotional vocals, harmonic guitar plucks, vibey synths, and heart-pounding bass. This beautifully constructed mix will make you want to cry, dance, and jump around all at the same time before it concludes with an alluring melodic bass soundscape packed with slick guitar riffs as N3WPORT helps everyone let go to float among the clouds.

The dance music scene is DC is really exploding and has been for a few years, and it’s been so cool to watch! Clubs like Echostage, Soundcheck and Ultra Bar have really helped to capture mainstream attention for the dance scene, and it’s exciting to be a part of a city that grooms and cares for EDM and it’s community. DC clubs are where I discovered dance music, and it’s exciting to now play a part in the dance music community here!

Zachary Lefevre has been listening to electronic music since the early 2000s. Although his first live show was underground hip-hop, he began listening to a variety of different genres and found his niche within electronic community. After attending more concerts and festivals, Zachary was seeking out a platform that would allow him to express his passion and love for live music and share it with friends, family, and the world. Having always been an avid writer he began to combine the two arts and shortly after writing his first article Zachary became part of the EDM Identity team in August 2015.
