Set your alarm tone to saxophone because electro-funk superstar GRiZ is returning to Red Rocks for a one-night-only Labor Day special.
If you’ve been keeping your eyes locked on the already bustling festival season, you’ll know that one of the artists throwing it down with tons of new announcements left and right is GRiZ. From cooking up hot new tunes to releasing a brand new merch line, as well as selling out headlining events Space Camp, Another World, and recently Grizmas in July, his fans have been on their toes for a new surprise drop.
It just so happens that today, everyone’s favorite funky DJ threw all his fans a curveball by announcing his unexpected return to the mecca of electronic music shows, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, on September 6. From what was thought to be an unforeseeable hiatus of GRiZ’s presence at the venue, this announcement is sure to be one of his most anticipated yet because it’s a night that will be jam-packed with his sweet sounds.
This Labor Day special show will include the holy trinity of GRiZ throwdowns: an ethereal Chasing The Golden Hour set, memorable ’10-’17 set (a Red Rocks crowd favorite), and a bangers-only Full Flex set to close the night down in style. His Red Rocks comeback is sure to hold a few special surprises for the audience and there’s sure to be plenty of good vibes in the air that night, especially given the venue’s reputation.
In classic GRiZ fashion, these tickets aren’t sure to last very long. This show is projected to have all of his enthusiasts breaking this internet eager to snag some tickets.
