IVORY Unleashes His ‘Beast’ of a New EP on Never Say Die

IVORY brings the madness to bass lovers near and far with the release of his four-track, Beast EP, which is out now on Never Say Die!

During the years that IVORY has been producing dance music, he’s maintained consistency and variety in his releases. Time and time again, fans can expect blasting bass and plenty of high-energy sounds whenever they turn on a track of his. This year alone, he has released a remix for Tisoki‘s “Sad B*tch,” a collab with Samplifire called “Harald,” and a track with Kompany called “Nibiru.” Now, following his colossal Dead Space EP, which dropped last year, IVORY is letting his brand-new Beast EP run free to continue the string of immaculate bass releases.

IVORY has had a long-standing relationship with Never Say Die and the label is the perfect platform for his incredibly distinct and massive sound. The Beast EP continues to foster that relationship with four tracks that are full of grimy bass sounds, pounding drums, and meticulous production quality. The title track “Beast” sees IVORY link up with Bizo and The Arcturians to create the perfect intro for the collection of tunes. Airy vocals set the stage and lead the listener into a flurry of synths as they are taken on a wild ride of three distinct drops.

“Rave Thing” embodies everything it means to be at a festival when you’re thrashing around in the crowd with your buddies. The track begins with dance leads that are reminiscent of the ’90s before going into a hard dance section. This quickly switches up into the trademark IVORY bass sound for the remainder of the track. It’s punchy, energetic, and will get you dancing around!

On the latter half of the EP, is “The Fall” and “Gloom” both of which hold their own. Nitti Gritti lends his production talents to “The Fall” and the result is an epic track that constantly evolves as you listen to it. It begins with huge sub hits along with vocal elements and quickly rises into a standout drop and an even better second half of the track. Then, “Gloom” closes out the EP in style with a dark atmosphere filled with a bevy of bass notes and quick patterning to deliver the finishing blow.

IVORY’s Beast EP is phenomenal and gets better the more you listen to it, he truly went above and beyond on this one. You can stream the release on your favorite platform, but don’t forget to let us know what you think of the tunes in the comments!
