Okeechobee drops the official dates and details for its return to Sunshine Grove in March 2022 to celebrate five years of fun in the sun.
In 2020, Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival was one of the final events held before lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For over a year, music fans and artists alike suffered from this drought of live events. Now that “nature is healing,” it comes as no surprise that the Insomniac Events and Soundslinger have been hard at work and are just as pumped for the return of the festival in 2022.
Today, Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival announced that it will return for its fifth year on March 3-6, 2022 for its grand return to Sunshine Grove. Since its debut, the festival has become renowned for bringing stacked lineups, immersive production elements, plenty of art, and delectable food to the venue that’s set in the lush Florida jungle. Surrounded by palm trees and sand, this event doubles as a tropical vacation for anyone who attends.
Along with the announcement, Okeechobee has confirmed that Aquachobee Beach will return for daytime wubs in the sand with your buds and the nighttime stage Jungle 51 will return with hot jungle party beats from dusk to dawn. The Grove will be home to two of the main stages again and Chobeewobee Village’s art bazaar and food haven return with shopping and tasty festival food as well.
While the lineup hasn’t been announced yet, there’s no doubt that the lineup will have some of the top artists across every music genre. Past lineups include artists like Travis Scott, Mumford and Sons, Kaskade, GRiZ, and Leon Bridges so you know that Insomniac and Soundslinger will come in with a massively stacked weekend for the thirsty Okeechobeeings!
The pre-sale for GA and VIP tickets, along with camping packages begins on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 12 pm ET on the official Okeechobee website. Be sure to grab your pass and keep an eye out for more details about the event in the coming months!
