With this hot new tune out on Deadbeats, fans will be craving to hear what Esseks has cooked up on the rest of his forthcoming album.

Esseks is an artist that needs absolutely no introduction because when his name comes to mind so does his unique sound. He’s paved an incredible career for himself with cutting-edge sounds and seemingly everything he touches turns to gold. While 2020 put a halt on playing shows, that did not stop him from putting out genre-defying music. Last year he had his music featured on Bassrush’s The Prophecy Vol. 1 as well as a massive two-track EP with Shanghai Doom.

This year, Esseks started off strong with the release of “Ellies Nap” on CloZee’s Emergence. The energy he brings with his tracks is unmatched and he proves that yet again with his latest Deadbeats release “Watching From a Distance.” The latest from this renowned artist further showcases his boundary-breaking style in the realm of bass music and is packed with a multitude of weird, wobbly sounds.

Esseks starts it off with a super catchy beat that immediately pulls you in and from there the fun really begins. Then, he keeps it bouncy for the first part of the track with delightful basslines and weird hip hop beats that will be impossible to sit still to. A nice surprise is in store for the second half of the track when Esseks throws in some distorted, foggy bass. Everything about this track feels like a long strange trip that you never want to end.

“Watching From a Distance” is just a taste of what’s to come on his forthcoming album, The Villain’s Journey, which is set to release later this year, and we couldn’t be more excited for this upcoming project. If this new track is any foreshadowing of what is to expect off the new album, his fans are surely in for such a treat.

Listen to “Watching From a Distance” on your preferred music platform and be sure to keep an eye out for the rest of the album when it drops.
