Dynamic duo House Divided are back with the Where The Beats Go Low EP which just dropped on Terminal Underground!
One of the hottest duos in the scene who have continued to show that they’ve got their finger on the pulse of house music is none other than House Divided. Even in the face of the pandemic, this Los Angeles-based duo has kept everyone’s feet moving to the beat with some serious heaters like “Too Hot” and fantastic mixes along the way. Now, they’ve set their sights on dominating the sun-soaked skyline of the City of Angels with their latest EP, Where The Beats Go Low.
Out now on Matroda’s imprint Terminal Underground, Where The Beats Go Low clocks in at just two tunes, but they’re jampacked with funky fresh vibes that will immediately draw listeners to the dancefloor. “Amsterdam” leads the charge with its hypnotic bassline that captures attention before inducing feet into a shuffle frenzy as tech elements and chopped vocals are layered in for good measure.
Then, the title track enters the fray and boy is it quite the ride from House Divided. The sultry vocal for this track urges listeners to “meet me where the beats go low,” while a second voice responds to that call for some nice back-and-forth action. While simplistic in nature, the way the vocals are distorted and warped really take it to the next level as it matches perfectly with the layered spacey elements and a thudding bassline that will quickly take over control.
